This story feels a lot like an issac asimov story. That doesn't really describe it all all though.
I like Asimov. At one time the Foundation Trilogy was my favorite SF story.

I'm glad you're enjoying Tangled River. I don't remember running an ad on Stand Still, Stay Silent. I just checked out the site and it looks great, but I don't see any Project Wonderful ads running. Puzzled.
