Great page!
This has got me wondering about the size of the population of their community.
Thanks Skweee.
So far, the only hints about population size of New Frontier would be the mention of the number of Betas on Page 19, and Tanya's sketch of the town on Page 2.
I'd be interested in hearing anyone's theories on what's going on in the comic, because I'm letting the story world get revealed only a little bit at a time.
My impression is that they're colonists from different countries scattered across a new world. Their extended lifespans might be from parallel advancements in biology, bio-engineering, or simply this planet's shorter years compared to Earth's. It all still has an air of mystery to it though (in a good way).
Hi Guest (what a mysterious name)
Thanks for giving us your impression of what's going on storywise. I can't confirm any of it, but I'm glad you're giving the comic a careful read.
WOW I wish Licorice would go after me with an axe. She is sooooo sexy.
The chase is better than the catch. That goes double when you're on the end of an axe
I feel perhaps it is a smaller type village. I think maybe they came to settle on this new world, but some of the older people are regretting it now. Also, since there are only 23 children, and originally they thought they would be traveling more, there might be concerns of inbreeding? And perhaps the flash of light Tanya saw is new settlers? Lots of speculation right now. I love the pace of the story! It makes you think.
Hi Annie. I've enjoyed reading your speculations about the story. Please keep the comments coming- they make it a lot more enjoyable for me.
Sometimes, I like trying to figure out what will happen next or even later. But your story is so enjoyable, I really have no wish to try. I'm just happily going along for the ride and enjoying every panel's art and words!
