Nifty ship.
I have always been a sucker for diagrams, deck plans and maps of ships and locations.
i remember starting to read this webcomic back when it began, somewhere in the first 10 or 12 pages, and i wasn't very impressed. however i started reading again several months ago -- and at this point i am entirely blown away. imo this is one of the best sci-fi webcomics out there, by which i mean one of the best period. really well done.
I love this page! The diagram of the ship is especially well-drawn.
Don't mean to be nit-picky, but you put two "out"s in the last panel ("I tore the diagram out out" instead of "I tore the diagram out").
The oopsie reminded me of tests of perception, the most famous being a two-liner:
Paris in the
the spring
I've been reading this from the start and I'm always so impressed by it, I love it so much, its so beautiful. Keep going!
Kinda small for a sublight colony ship, but then again they don't all have to be Huge Frakking Space Cities.
Altho I did get a flashback to my old Metamorphosis Alpha game.....
Is that big circular structure amidships some kind of communication antenna?
Hi David, I'm going to leave speculations like these to you readers out there. My preference is that we see everything exclusively from Tanya's point of view, and what she doesn't know, we don't know.
Well then, whatever Tanya learns, we'll learn with her. Having said that, it could also be a safety device that emitted an energy pulse around the ship for deflecting potentially hazardous space debris. Just speculating!:)
Hmmm "I hoped mom never found out." sounds like mom did find out, butt seriously doubt she would be too upset about it
