"Not very pleasant" and terrible smells hmm? WHAT happened there? A disagreement among the crew? A mutiny for instance?
It might simply be Tanja is not use to recycled air, certainly not air that has been recycled for 40+ years
So Mom feels better soon after she's entered the ship, and not exposed to the planetary environment outside. Interesting.
Maybe there's something on the ship that has regenerative qualities? It could also be psychological, back in a familiar environment where life wasn't so harsh...
If the ship had just crashed, why is that vehicle where it is? Shouldn't the simple action of landing it knocked it over or something?
No, this is not a critique of the artist, just an observation (like any 'normal' person would make)
Ships and boats tend to have things fastened down in some way. If Tanya noticed that her feet were heavy with an attraction to the floor, couldn't it be a similar attraction (maybe amplified) for a heavy vehicle to lock it in place?
The locker room odor of sweat and cleaner times 40 years is probably rather pungent
I wonder what unpleasant things we're all going to see.
