Well, I did get this page done on Wednesday as I promised, but later in the day than usual. I have to face up to the reality that for the next 6 weeks I'm going to be pretty overburdened, and there's the possibility I'm going to miss a Wednesday deadline. Come December there won't be a problem. Please bear with me.
Well, it's 2 weeks later and I still haven't made a lot of progress on Page 100. What's happening is I've got a bunch of art jobs I need to finish by the end of November. After that, I can concentrate on the comic, but right now I'm too exhausted to do what I most want to do- draw Tangled River. Come December, everything's back to normal and I'll be able to stay on schedule. Thanks for all the supportive comments- it made me feel less guilty about missing deadlines.
I'm finishing up the work I have left and really looking forward to getting back to Tangled River next week. Look for the next page a week from Wednesday. Happy Thanksgiving.
Will do! I know all too well and good the pressure of deadlines.
Please... please just let them fade back into the jungle. :|
Also, yeah, if you're overwhelmed then take some dang ol' time off. Just don't forget about us.
Not a problem. Do what you have to do.
It occurs to me that Tanya would have a hard time explaining how she speared the urfell without having a spear.
Great page!!
Don't worry about your schedule. I hope that everything is okay.
Hey, just exercising common consideration and letting readers know there might be interruptions is more than most webcomic artists seem to be able to handle - points for that!
Please do not feel guilty. You are providing free entertainment at considerable cost to yourself in terms of time and effort. And, I might add, high quality entertainment: excellent drawing and a compelling plot. I greatly appreciate your willingness to do this.
I am retired now, so have spare time. However, I well remember that this is not the norm of human experience. Do what you need to do for you.
Live long and prosper.
I hope you are able to take a break for Thanksgiving.
